“Why can’t you come? You promised! This was so important to me! I’ve been working all year for this!”

“I’m sorry (y/n)! How many times do I have to say it? But would you rather have money coming in or me go to your stupid dance!”

“I can’t believe you just called it stupid!”

“Sorry but that’s what happens when you’re angry! You call things stupid!”

“God! I can’t take this anymore. It’s like you don’t love me anymore!”

“I’m going to my studio.”

(y/n) grabbed her dance bag and descended the stairs. She danced to calm herself, and escape reality when she was angry. Which was a lot recently. Ludwig and his girlfriend, (y/n), had been fighting a lot as of late. It was to the point where they fight over spilt salt. It was annoying to both of them, but they couldn’t stop.

Ludwig snuck downstairs and watched (y/n) as she danced. He was absolutely captivated by her graceful steps and absolute beauty. Her moves and hair were smooth as silk. He dance and eyes made any man’s heart melt. He didn’t want to miss her dance but he had to… didn’t he. He snuck back upstairs without being seen.

(y/n) looked out from behind the curtain. Of course Ludwig wasn’t here, but that didn’t stop her from looking for him. He was nowhere to be seen. What was she expecting? Him to be jumping up and down with a sign that spills out all his emotions for her in full details? Not a chance. He wouldn’t do anything like that in public or in front of so many people. The director told her it was time. (y/n) made her way to the stage and started as a familiar tune played.

(y/n) posed for a finishing move. Just before she could walk off stage a voice called to her. “Wait!” (y/n) turned towards the voice.

“Ludwig?” He got on the stage with ease.

“(y/n), I’m sorry about everything! I’ve been an idiot. It’s all my fault. But I want tell you, I love you.” He got down on one knee. “Even though we fight a lot, every time I see you dance I fall in love with you all over again.” He pulled out a ring in a small velvet box. “So will you marry me and we can fall in love all over again.”
She could hear a bunch of “aw”s from the crowd.

“Yes you silly German” (y/n) jumped into his arms and dove straight in for the kiss, tear streming down her cheek. More “aw”s escaped from the crowd.

“I’ve been working these extra-long hours so I could get this” he pointed to her ring. Once again more “aw”s. "Let’s get out of here.” He grabbed (y/n)’s hand, and pulled her out of the auditorium.
