Hercules lay sleeping in the bed next to (y/n). She wasn’t so lucky as to be asleep. Something was missing. Her relationship didn’t feel like it did before. There was missing, but she couldn’t place what it was. She lay restless in his arms.

She got up and took a warm shower. Hercules turned to look at the bathroom door. "You want me to join you?" He smirked.
"Not today..."
"oh...okay..." he put his head down on the pillow. Soon enough he was asleep again. That left (y/n) to her own thoughts. What could be missing?

And I am feeling so small
It was over my head
I know nothing at all

Maybe... had he ever even said he had loved her? No.... he hadn't. (y/n) stroked the cat that sat on the kitchen counter. She was now dressed and was starting to make breakfast.
He really hadn't. That's what she was missing. Did he really love her? She wasn't able to answer that one.

And I will stumble and fall
I'm still learning to love
Just starting to crawl

She had never been good at relationships but she made sure to say how she feels. Did Hercules feel the same way?
"What's for breakfast?"
(y/n) was snapped out of her trance. "Eggs and bacon."
He nodded and began to pet the cats.
(y/n) stopped at looked at him. "How do you feel about me?

"You're a very lovely girl who I care for."
"No, I mean... do you love me?"
"Of course."
"Then why don't you say it?"

"Why don't you say it right now?"

And I will swallow my pride

And I'm saying goodbye

After a bit of silence (y/n)'s eyes widened. "Oh my god... you can't can you....."
"..."
"I would do anything for you! I would even put my life on the line for you. And you can't even say those three simple words. How could you be so blind...."
"(y/n)...."
"No! Leave me alone."
She ran upstairs.
'He doesn't love me....'

(y/n) came back downstairs with a bag filled with enough clothes for a couple days. "I'll be back. I'm giving you one last chance. Say something.... or I'm giving up."

When he didn't say anything, (y/n) left out the front door, slamming it behind her.
